On May 12th 2019, we decided to have a company outing. Our team were joined by engineers from Caged Laser and Etavoni, who tested their bodies by jumping into a 5km Fun Run, raising awareness for Bowel cancer and Dorothy House hospice.
Visiting the Dorothy House hospice
On July 23rd representatives from Freshlook were joined by Caged Laser and Etavoni, as we visited the amazing Dorothy House hospice.
We were all grateful to walk around the beautiful grounds, where the public can visit and enjoy. We met some of the dedicated carers who work at the hospice, who make sure all terminally ill residents have a lovely home to rest in.

Breathtaking views
A few miles away from the Roman City of Bath, hiding on top of a valley, you will find the Dorothy House hospice. The large grounds are well-kept by a team of volunteer gardeners and decorators.
The newly built church is a particularly impressive building, made of wood with large windows and a balcony that allows residents to look out across the breathtaking valley. A large plot of lush green grass gives the garden a calm and spacious feel, for everyone to roam around and sit amongst tranquillity. There is also a herb and vegetable garden to encourage creative wellbeing.
Meeting the stars behind the scenes
Steph has been working with Dorothy House hospice as a carer, a lovely lady with a strong passion for her work. We were shown around the area by Steph and presented our cheque to the hospice. The fun run raised £1900 to give to the charity and we are so proud to help such a wonderful charity. Our thoughts are with those who have had the experience of visiting the Dorothy House, which is open to public to enjoy as well.
